Why did Midway want to change the name Puckman to Pacman?
As you can see from this friendly chap's explanation, bearing the responsibility of not changing the letter p was to much for the average western teenager.
I personaly believe that this was another cost saving measure of Midway, Pacman is one letter shorter than Puckman...
